I
The life I almost lost
I was a lawyer in India. Contracts, precision, logic — that was my world. My mind was trained to question everything, to demand proof, to trust only what could be argued and evidenced. The mystical, the energetic, the unseen — none of it had a place in my life.
Then I got married. And moved to America to begin a new life. And in 2013, shortly after arriving, I became critically ill.
“Lying there, I had one clear feeling: I am not done. I came back for something. I just didn't know what yet.”
Recovery gave me something I had never had before — stillness. And in that stillness, I started searching.
